Mal Corboy’s Insiteful Kitchen Designs

Our client Mal Corboy is an internationally renowned kitchen designer based in New Zealand. After launching his design career as a cabinet-maker, his fame continues to grow after receiving a horde of awards and a list of happy customers to Los Angeles and back!
His designs are instantly recognisable, defined by individual use of colour and lighting, with an emphasis on clean, extended lines and peerless attention to form and function.

On May 1st 2010 Doug Rikard-Bell and 10 other unlikely friends embarked on an 18-day adventure across the center of Australia, from Sydney to Broome.
Covering around 5,500km and crossing 8 deserts where fuel shortages, deep sand, dehydration and crocodiles in the river crossings will be just some of the issues they will confront. This impressively adventurous expedition isnt about the heroics of a dangerous and dusty voyage. This is about a bunch of personalities living parallel lives, with every leg of the journey presenting new challenges and learning experiences.
Having just made it to Uluru (Ayers Rock) the team are making great headway and should be finishing their journey on the estimated time. They have been having loads of fun and you can check out some of their fantastic stories and see more of their photos from the Outback at their Facebook fan page.
Apart from their indulgent quest for adventure, the troupe have found another motivation along the way, and they are enthusiastically raising money for Cure Kids to assist a medical student through their PhD and internship on the

Another Success for New Zealand’s Leading Kitchen Designer

Mal Corboy, New Zealand&s most celebrated kitchen designer has scored another first, this time making the final selection at the national Australian Kitchen & Bathroom Designer&s Institute Awards — the first time a New Zealander has made it to the final round of these awards.
Both of Mal&s entries have been selected for the final round of judging, with winners to be announced in September.
