Big Boys Toys on 3 Sports Tonight

One of our projects this year was helping to get Big Boys Toys back on the entertainment calendar for Auckland.
We wanted to get the event back in front of the media and remind them why this was one of the big, fun events of the year. So we pulled together a media launch, showcasing some of the best features and attractions.

Big Boys Toys Thunder on The Horizon

Big Boys Toys launches this Friday at the ASB Showgrounds in all its Big Boys Toys glory; a showcase of the biggest, best and most powerful toys including million dollar supercars, massive V8’s, aquatic craft, insanely fast motorbikes, the latest in gaming technology, extreme sports action, and more.
Featuring New Zealand’s biggest names in wakeboarding, FMX, BMX, stunt cars, stunt bikes and strongmen, the outdoor Action Arena is set to be a crowd favourite of the event with a thrilling entertainment schedule ready to go off.
Autumn Home Show and Big Boys Toys Exhibitions Cancelled

dmg world media has announced the cancellation of two consumer exhibitions scheduled to take place in 2010.
The Autumn Home Show, scheduled to take place at Auckland&s ASB Showgrounds from the 16th- 18th April 2010 has been cancelled, as has Big Boys Toys which had been scheduled for the 12th- 14th November 2010.
The Auckland Home Show and Canterbury Home Show will go ahead as normal:
- Auckland Home Show 2010: Wed 8th September 2010 — Sun 12th September 2010 at the ASB Showgrounds, Auckland.
- Canterbury Home Show 2010: Friday 15th October 2010 — Sunday 17th October 2010 at the Westpac Arena, Addington, Christchurch.
dmg world media – Sale of New Zealand Portfolio Update

dmg world media is near to completing the sale of its New Zealand business. Today the company announced that the business will be sold as two separate entities, splitting the consumer and trade portfolios, with the sale scheduled for completion by the end of January 2010.
The consumer show portfolio consists of 4 shows: Canterbury Home Show, Auckland Home Show, Autumn Home Show and Big Boys Toys.
The trade portfolio consists of eight shows: Autumn Gift, Winter Gift, Spring Gift, EMEX, Foodtech Packtech, Hospitality NZ, Build NZ/Designex NZ and Printech.
