Big Boys Toys on 3 Sports Tonight
Dec 16th
One of our projects this year was helping to get Big Boys Toys back on the entertainment calendar for Auckland.
We wanted to get the event back in front of the media and remind them why this was one of the big, fun events of the year. So we pulled together a media launch, showcasing some of the best features and attractions.
This montage from 3 Sports Tonight gives a great snapshot of the our Big Boys Toys media launch.
Suit & Salad Fundraising Luncheon
Nov 4th
Today we had the pleasure of being part of the Suit and Salad Fundraising Luncheon – a Dress For Success Auckland initiative, which aim is to help woman get back into the work force. Held in the Grand Tea Room in the Heritage Hotel, the event was seamless apart from having to evacuate the entire building after some over enthusiastic gym bunny knocked the alarm in whilst working out, but that just added to the excitement. There was an excellent turn out, the auction was a heated affair with furious and welcome bidding and lots of cash was raised, all for fantastic cause.

Movember Launch Party
Oct 26th
The official Movember 2011 launch party kicks off tomorrow night at Fort Street Union, in a shin dig rivaled only by the quality of the moustaches themselves. The goodie bags are being packed as this is typed, then tomorrow afternoon it’s all hands on deck to prepare the room, hook up the display TVs, install the stage and general Mo the place up a bit, in readiness for the evening’s events.
It’s going to be a great night with the Sweet Mix Kids playing, there will be wet shaves happening all night, comedian Rhys Mathewson is bringing the funnies with a quick set, plenty of notable Mo Bros and Sistas and all hosted by the lovely Jo Holley and Will Hall!

The crayfish will be the main feature of one of The Grove’s dishes at Taste of New Zealand (kicking off this evening!), cooked with Cafe de Paris, butter, lemon and Vivian Salad – delicious! There are limited numbers of the Crayfish dish so make sure you get in early. If you miss out, there are plenty of other mouth watering dishes from any of the other restaurants, for more info on the menus click here.

The Parrot AR Drone Enters Christchurch Cathederal
Jun 20th
In March PBPR was pleased to work with Yoobee to launch the Parrot AR Drone in conjunction with the release of iPad2.
The AR Drone is an amazing piece of equipment that on the one hand can be used as a game or entertainment, but as this footage shows, has amazing possibilities for business.
Powered by four fan engines and directed by an iPhone or iPad, the AR Drone can hover and fly in all directions. Cameras on the AR Drone show where you’re going and transmits the images back to the driver. Amazing.
In this 3 News item, see as the AR Drone enters the Christchurch Cathedral and gives us a sobering look at the inside and the damage. See here for the footage. Thanks to 3 News.
